European Youth event on 20 and 21 September August 1, 2014. The European Radio Amateurs’ Organisation is holding a youth event on 20 and 21 September and is encouraging other countries to join in. Called ‘Give Youth a Chance’, the aim is to promote amateur radio among young people, enabling them to have fun and meet other amateurs all over the world. Where regulations permit, licensed radio amateurs are encouraged to invite and supervise young future operators to have their first experience with real radio.
