European human rights activists released after arrest in Serbia for speaking out about forced organ harvesting in China Acting under the directives of the European Unions resolution against forced organ harvesting passed in 2013 (m.youtube/watch?v=vNEk_oxehBM), a group of european citizens planning to participate in peaceful demonstrations against the systematic atrocity of forced organ harvesting from prisoners of conscience in China were arrested in the Serbian capital of Belgrade before taking any action at all. The event was the China Summit held in Belgrade, with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang meeting with his counterparts from 16 Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries on Dec. 16–17 for the third China–(CEE) summit. Serbian police jailed 9 Europeans, including two Russian citizens, without charging them, immediately upon arrival in Belgrade. Their release came after intense international pressure, with both the EU and Amnesty International taking up the issue. Accused of threatening the national security of the country, police forcefully abducted them directly from their hotel check-in, detaining them without disclosure or legal counsel, cutting them off from the rest of the world............ A press conference was held after the activists were released. It is in Bulgarian with English subtitle. See 22min. for details on forced organ harvesting.
