Even political people are suffering slavery Dalip Singh Wasan, Advocate. The British while going out from Hindustan, handed over the charge to a selected politicians and that is the reason, we, the people at large and even the people in politics had been facing slavery of individual autocrats. We had been conducting elections to show that we have established a democracy, but actually it there had been family rule, party dictatorship and individual autocracy. If we conduct deep study, we come out with a conclusion that since 1947 till date, we had been suffering under individual autocracy and there had been one man show throughout. All other politicians too had been facing slavery because they were never allowed to work as per their own conscience. They were just present in the elected house and they wee obliged to obey one man who was the autocrat of the time. And even today, when we are going to establish a new government, each party has forwarded their one-man and we must accept that this man shall be establishing his autocracy and all other politicians in the party shall have tgo obey him and work as per his orders.
