Even the most outlandishly overfull schedule becomes manageable when we admit to ourselves that only certain duties on our agenda need to be immediately addressed. Many people are loath to prioritize because they believe that they will inadvertently overlook some small yet important detail of their schedule. With a little thought, however, we can organize our day to ensure that all that is vital to our well-being is seen to in the early hours, leaving us plenty of time to transition our focus to less vital issues later. The better we become at identifying what is potentially significant, the more leisure time we will be able to find in our agendas, ensuring that we never feel stressed by our responsibilities. You will be less likely to overdo it when you have clearly outlined those duties that need to be handled immediately.
