Even though Governor Okorocha did not mention any names in his speech at the Oru Owerri festival, it was not difficult to figure out who he was referring to when he told the crowd not to vote any woman who throws slippers at men. We all remember that Governor Okorocha had accused Sen. Anyanwu of the same action in 2012 when their convoys clashed along Owerri-Umuahia express road. The Governor also indirectly referred to our distinguished two-term Senator as a harlot who though married, often found warmth in the beds of other men. He also accused her of slapping her husband in public. We are still waiting for a response from Senator Chris Anyanwus camp. In the meantime, how best should Senator Chris Anyanwu handle this matter? Should she forgive him as a true christian is expected to do? Should she sharpen her claws and target the next public outing to physically shred the Governor apart or should she reach out to Governor Okorocha and beg for reconciliation?
