Even though I choose not to attack the Bible I do find the Genesis account of Adam and Eve to be absurd if not taken in the allegorical sense ......it simply can not account for the genetic diversity which exist in the human genome...even when allowing for mutation rates ....why this should be viewed as necessary to be Christian is an indication of how many professing to be of this faith are actually anything but .....this myth ,like most, should be seen in the metaphorical dimension where it can best be applied to our well being.
