Even though I do enjoy most songs on the country radio waves these days, I have noticed a very similar pattern in a lot of the guys songs: girls in their painted on jeans, shakin their money makers, slidin their little sugar shakers up on into that truck, come on girl lets go get it stuck. What about the girls working on farms, busting their asses, getting sweaty and covered in dirt because theyre actually working for a living? Wheres the love for them in country songs now a days? I do enjoy looking nice when I go out, but when Im at home taking care of the horses my typical attire is dirty, faded out, blue jeans, usually a guys t-shirt, an old sweatshirt, and my romeos or my camo muck boots. Hair up in a messy bun or ponytail, and a lot of the time no make up. I smell like horses, dirt, or grease and theres a 99.99% chance I have hay in my hair, and boots, and nails or insulators in my pockets. Thats just reality for this farm girl.
