Even though it is getting cold outside, we are still seeing fleas and heartworm disease! We recommend that you continue giving heartworm prevention year round. Not only does it prevent heartworm disease, most preventatives also treat some intestinal parasites. We also recommend applying a flea and tick preventative monthly as well.
