Even though we are embraced by the Almighty, we live a world is both fallen and dark and a beautiful creation of God. You can see the workings of evil all around everyday, recently, the shootings and kidnappings.. You can feel the heaviness, the cloud of emptiness,oppression,despair.....that many cannot handle or cope. Satan can put a dark smoked glasses on people making everything look hopeless. But we also know and see the light of hope and rays of life-saving light that makes satan flee. We are the children of this amazing God of hope. We need only to reach out and talk to Him, to pray for others and for the world we live in. Believe everything that Jesus says! The things we experience and battle with prompts us to want to help others to conquer their battles. It develops compassion.
