Evening all.. So many have asked how we got on at Gt Ormond St so here goes... There was alot said and alot to take in. It was the news we expected. they do want to operate Do a Right Hemi in about 3 months subject to available space for surgery then rehab at Linden( Surrey) For about 12 weeks . But at the moment Logan seems to be at his best his been for over a year with the odd seizure. (Due to the treatments blood infusions etc. ) They said that he has or the disease has progressed rather quick but the decision is mine and Garys... So were playing God as such! but what a decision to make not to mention the risks involved with the surgery. And then he loses use of his lefthand, and some facial difference, and eye sight.this is the best result with alot of therapy . At mo his using his hand. .) but as me and Gary know that can change over night..... If we allow surgery to go ahead and when we decide time is right to disconnect right side of brain.!! Where at mo his using his hand. Walks around most of time unless poorly and is very vocal and independent as you may know.! .... Especially his colourful language ... Thanks again for being there and supporting our family even if its a hello it means so much. But a very big thankyou for being there from bottom of mine and garys heart go to both lots of our parents Lorraine Paul Kay unwin, Michelle Lee Michelle White Sean Gail brian wase(Thailand) Sam broker Julia Stevenson sue n steve Tandy, Logans cdt Belinda Logans nurse Jenny, Jo Forde , for 1 hell of a year lol...!!
