What if Hamas was a criminal organization that was using Palestinians as human shields? Consider this scenario: A group of 3 heavily armed men storm a school in an inner city district and go on a shooting rampage killing more than 25 student and teachers. As the police were called in, the armed men where able to slip away to seek refuge in a nearby apartment block. When the police arrives they weigh the risk of storming the building to apprehend or kill the gunmen or perhaps take a safer route for them. So ultimately they decide on the safer route. An arial drone is called in and it shoots a missile at the apartment block demolishing a substantial part of the block. Oh, they gave residents less than 5 minutes to vacate the building. The gleeful police is happy that they were able to kill the gunmen with no loss on their side. However, after accounting for the 30 dead residents who were not quick enough or too frightened to leave, the police discovers that the gunmen were able to escape into another building down the street. The police use the same strategy again killing dozens more. Do you think this would ever happen in any civilized country or by any civilized law enforcement or army?!! Imagine if you were one of the unlucky residents of the building that was demolished! Would you think that the actions of the police would be justified?! Does sound like police that has any regard for human life? What if the police here was a brutal occupation that has a long history of total disregard for human life? What if the heavily armed men did not kill any civilians, and were just focused on attacking the occupying army?
