{Events} Theatrical Project The Culture Initiative Centre of the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative areas supported by the Moscow Department of Culture presents the Theatrical Project. Moscow theatrical performances will be held on the territory of Moscow administrative areas. The project launched in October 2014. To date, several shows of the Mukha-Tsokotukha (Busy Buzzy Fly) interactive performance have been held at recreational centres and kindergartens in the distant districts of the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative areas. By the end of the year, the Mukha-Tsokotukha performances, A Story of a Miracle and The Nutcracker, will be held. Interactive performances are oriented primarily towards children and families. Since all performances include direct interaction with spectators, they have limitations for visitors. For instance, the Mukha-Tsokotukha performance and tea-drinking are for children aged between 2 and 6 and A Story of a Miracle is for children over five and can host an audience of a maximum of 50 spectators. The Nutcracker is oriented towards a higher number of spectators, 150 people over seven. All performances are accompanied by live music. The duration of the performances varies between 40 and 60 minutes. According to Irina Kulikova, the coordinator of the Theatrical Project, the idea to organise a series of performances for children during autumn vacations and before New Year was not spontaneous. Since the performances during Library Night were very popular and received a good response from spectators, this fact served as an engine for holding the Theatrical Project.
