Events this Friday, November 7 Public Night at the Urban Astronomy Center. Will need a few telescopes, setup at dusk or earlier. Ken will be hosting the indoor program. We are invited to the Carmike Cinemas Stonybrook 20. This is their grand re-opening and they will be showing a movie called Interstellar a story of deep-space exploration. The assistant manager also asked if it could be possible for members of your organization to come out to our theater for a period of time and help teach our guests more about the wonders of space- explaining through diagrams, possibly setting up telescopes, or any other ideas you may have. We are wanting to reach out more to our local community to help peak patron interest in the subjects of the films we are presenting, as well as spread word about local organizations.
