Ever received a penalty at a big race and not really sure - TopicsExpress

Ever received a penalty at a big race and not really sure why? Ever wanted to have more involvement in our sport and didn’t quite know what else to do? Ever thought that you really should know the rules of Triathlon better? Ever wanted to wear a bright green vest and watch the race close up, from the back of a motorbike? Or…..have you had enough of going to Triathlons to watch your other half compete, but felt you could be more involved in the sport? Then…..We have the answer to your questions. CHTC and TriNSW have organised a Level 1 Technical Official (T.O.) course to be conducted in Coffs Harbour on the evening of Friday 13th June and we would love for you to come along and be accredited, helping to further develop our sport in Northern NSW. There is a small amount of online pre-work to be completed prior to the course and the accreditation will take approximately 3 - 4hrs on the night. After completing this component of the course, there will be a Field of Play (FOP) assessment, which will be completed at a major event next season. If you are interested, please contact Ian Nash [email protected] with your details by no later than Sunday 8th June, so we can add your name to the growing list of interested people. We will confirm the exact time and place as soon as we have final numbers. PS Don’t forget that a TO gets 10 points at Club Champs and we came second by 3 points in 2014….Just saying! Nashy
