Ever since I was born again, I have noticed God speaking in many different ways. Hes so creative and He will use anything He can to talk to us. One of those ways He gets to me (which should not surprise me, since Im a vocalist) is through music. But here is the creative twist. I have my alarm clock set to radio when it goes off in the morning. Frequently, when it goes off, I will wake up to hearing a particular chorus or verse that speaks directly to where I am with the Lord at that moment in time. I love it! This morning, it was this one (see below), which is so relevant as I try to step into some new (and sometimes scary!) dimensions with Him: I dont wanna go through the motions I dont wanna go one more day Without Your all-consuming passion inside of me I dont wanna spend my whole life asking, What if I had given everything Instead of going through the motions? - Matthew West, The Motions How cool is that? He will speak to you in creative ways, also, when you get into a relationship with Him! This is for WHOSOEVER believes in Him (see John 3:16) because when youre saved (born again), you enter the realm of intimate relationship (i.e. communication) with Him! Jesus rocks!
