Ever since Ive ventured out and started my new job, Im noticing more and more that almost everyone that I work with is married. And trust me they are not the most attractive looking people either nor do they have the most attractive mates. Lol. Honestly, I kind of feel a little out of place. I dont know if black people just dont value marriage but we have to do better. I see so many beautiful single black and minoritys women that I dont understand why we arent getting chosen. Could it be that our priorities are messed up or something, I just dont get it. Every other race knows how to keep their family together while we chose to be separate and struggle because we like the idea of having our own. Were working 10 times harder for no reason all because too many of our men are selfish, stubborn and afraid of commitment. I dont know any women who truly object to getting married but boy oh big, our men are some of the biggest slackers and procrastinators in that category. Im a firm believer that having 2 incomes and supporters in a household makes a tremendous difference and it gives both partners a chance to unite for a cause greater than themselves and a reason to be better people.
