Ever since the launching of The Award of The Golden Mother by The University of Calicut, so called intellectuals, especially feminists were crying for the blood of Dr.Molly Kuruvila, if the reports are to be believed, they can sleep peacefully as she had been sacked, according to mathrubhumi newspaper. I am amazed by seeing the criminal silence by the public in this unjust, inhumanly treatment meted out to a scholar whose only fault was the commitment to her work and raising the status of motherhood.Its the reward given to a respectable teacher.I request the award to be made at the earliest,if given a stage and mike these so called will compose a lengthy poem about mother without any guilty conscience,lets join our hands together for a noble cause....for the millions of mothers who forsake their life for upbringing the society as a whole. At least, lets not insult our mothers. Especially, now a days who says that for satisfying own lust children should not become a liability....
