Ever wonder how we advertise the Sandpoint area? The Visit Sandpoint Tourism Council wanted to share some of the ads we place throughout the year – Fall, Winter and Spring. We receive a tourism grant from the state and the requirement is for us to advertise outside of the area. Ads are strategically placed in publications fitting our tourism demographic. You might see ads in: Alaska/Horizon in-flight magazine, NW Travel, Inlander, Swerve (Calgary), Kootenay Mountain Culture (Canada), OutdoorsNW, Out There Monthly and others. We will continue our “What a Wonderful Pace” theme again for 2014/15. These ads are from 2013/2014. To see more of our tourism efforts go to visitsandpoint . We also produce 70,000 visitor guides and use all of them.
