Everett had his 1st dose of chemo today. So far, so good. we walked a mile and then he rode his bike 5 miles---although he did both at a much slower pace. He goes tomorrow for lab work to see how the white blood cells are doing..For those I have not told, he was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma on the left side of his neck. He woke up July 15th and had no voice. He went to thedoctor on July 18--was told he had a viral infection. Went back to dr July 26 had a walnut sized knot on left side of neck--was told aswollen gland and sinus infection-- still had no voice, just a whisper, but had a follow up appt. on August 2. In one weeks time, the walnut size grew to the size of a very large lemon. So after having MRI and CTscan and lab and biopsy, this is what we are dealing with.
