Every African ethnic group has its own culture and tradition and this is one of them. Its a custom as old as time and basayenza nanamhlanje, something which is held in high regard sithi sizwe esimnyama(ukuhlonitshwa kwamasiko).What i dont understand though is why this particular group had to invite the media to such a ceremony. Personally i think its demeaning and somewhat violating the rights of these young maidens
