Every Breath You Take, UB40 style. At the center of yoga is your breath. When all else fails focus on your breath. Once you get into a pose, stay there for a few breaths and focus before you move on. I speed up my videos so youre not stuck staring at me for too long, but I normally stay in something for 3-5 breaths. Day 16 #balancebasics with Athleta Side Plank. Once in side plank, really push the ground and keep your hips raised and stabilize the core. Bend the top leg if you can, then raise it up as far as you can into star pose, and if you dare, try to reach the top leg. BREATHE. Ive seen a lot of improvement at grabbing the leg, I am more stable (though I still look pretty shaky!) Its still progress :)
