Every film should have its own world, a logic and feel to it that expands beyond the exact image that the audience is seeing. I think Im not so much a fan of science fiction as I am a fan of cinema that creates worlds, that creates an entire alternate universe that you could escape into for a couple of hours! - Sir Christopher Nolan _/\_ There r very few filmmakers who want to make the audience a part of their extremely wide imagination, one such out-of-the-box filmmaker is, Sir Christopher Nolan, he is the rare one with a 100% success record till date, not only each of his movies r liked by the audience, even when we, as audience, are satisfied by what he made for us to watch, but he is never satisfied with himself, he want to beat himself in his next film-projects, thus producing better n better films every 2yrs.! Ill TRY to keep it as short as possible! :-P This epic sci-fi film Interstellar, is acc.2me, the greatest mind-bender art form of all time, even more mind-bending than Inception, its certainly the best film in recemt times, I wont say its Sir Nolans best work, Inception still remains THE BEST film for me, thats bcoz, Inception was somehow thoroughly understandable by majority of its target audience, but this is a film that is beyond basic human knowledge & understanding about universe, it would take atleast 2 times to watch & understand the story to the fullest, even for its target audience, theres a certain limit of understanding & getting indulged into a film, well, Interstellar has gone beyond that, good in some way & felt a lil less in some way in terms of producing understandable cinema, thats the only reason why Inception would beat Interstellar! Else talking of the film, its journey, that starts on a low, and as it progresses, it reaches a top-notch level in terms of storytelling, I have never been so involved in a film, it is adventurous, mysterious, futuristic, watch the film going from a space journey fairytale to a harsh reality about tthe space & the wormholes, frankly speaking this was the first time that I didnt even noticed how the time passed away, and let me tell u its a 2hr.50mins. film, and u would want to know more of it even after the film ends, I bet sir Nolan would initially had a story to tell which would have run for more than 3-3&1/2 hrs. on screen, but somehow he managed to bring it to 2hr.50mins., indeed the tuffest job for any filmmaker or ever any short-filmmaker in that case, but he totally did justice to the story & the time he was alloted, hats off sir, hats off, all hail sir Nolan!
