Every serving, or served, or retired servicemember, their family members, their moms and dads, and especially those who lost a love one who was serving in the armed forces defending our way of life deserves this type of home coming and expression of love and compassion. I suggest that you dont have to wait for a single holiday to remember to say it, rather I suggest that every time you get the urge to say thank you, or buy a lunch or dinner at Applebees, or coffee in the starbucks line, or even to walk by that group of men or women in uniform and say thank you…just do it, because I know, after serving beside these mothers and fathers, sisters, brothers, cousins, neices and nephews and sons and daughters for 20 years, that it is never enough to remove any mental, emotional, physical or time lossed during their voluntary or involuntary service to our country and its way of life. I know I appreciated it, and still do. Thank you for your thoughts and wishes…spread them around.
