Every single place at Everest base Camp trek has its own significance and team of WEVTE makes sure to highlight and emphasis all the important information to its guests. Tengboche a village situated at the height of 3867m is a beautiful village with less than 20 houses with a grand view of summit Everest 8850m and Ama Dablam 6856m. The village withholds biggest Gompa(monastery) of Khumbu region which was built in 1923 which once was ruined in 1934 by earthquake and again in 1989 by fire is now rebuilt with the help of foreign aid and volunteers. Although the center attraction of Tengboche is its Gompa, the panoramic picture perfect view of Tawache, Nuptse (7861m), Lhotse(8516m) and Thamserku(6608) including Everest and Ama dablam is also a show stopper and view not to miss.
