Every so often I reflect on the state of the world, and I get a little discouraged. So it got me thinking... I looked up this video online. Granted, this is based only on our known history, however after watching the last 30 seconds, I couldnt help but be a little optimistic. Seems more and more smaller countries and ethnic groups are coming together and declaring independence. Whether thats a political tactic or not, I do not know, but being recognized as a state and having a voice on a global level is definitely progress. It may not be in our lifetime, but I still have hope for our planet and peoples. The earth will survive as its always done; its humanity Im not so sure about...
