Every student of religion and social studies should definitely - TopicsExpress

Every student of religion and social studies should definitely watch this documentary on Shintoism, the native Japanese religion. Especially all modern Indians should watch this. What is called or referred to today as Hinduism is almost like a twin of this Shinto religion. There is nothing called a one true God, whatever the hell that means. Shintoism and Hinduism are more or less atheistic traditions. This so called God or the stupid "one true God" has no place in Hinduism & Shintoism. Pay special attention to the commentary between 5.00 and 7.00 in part 2 of the documentary. It will clearly explain what it means to invoke deities i.e. devatA-s/deva-s and how they come to the person and interact with the one who invokes. Watching this documentary will show how different Shintoism is, from Abrahamic religions like Christianity. By extension, one will also see how different Hinduism is, from Christianity and similar crap. They are just worlds apart. When it comes to religion, most present day Indians are a stupid bunch, including many so called Swamiji-s who make poorly informed and uneducated proclamations like saying all religions are one. We call such swami-s as "Moron-Swami-s" :-) The documentary will also somewhat educate Hindu-s on how they should view their own works like Ramayana or Mahabharata. But present day Hinduism is greatly corrupted and made ugly because of two poisons, called Bhakti & Vedanta traditions. These Bhakti & Vedanta traditions should be avoided like one avoids poison...But one can always emulate the spirit of learning & Scholarship that the Vedanta tradition always carried with it, and the dedication, discipline and one-pointedness of some people belonging to those bhakti traditions. It is in four parts - Part 1 Below youtube/watch?v=Ajk6mtuYfuE&list=PL1DC135291515CF2C Part 2 below: youtube/watch?v=4ET91wXsDNk&list=PL1DC135291515CF2C Commentary between 5.00 & 7.10 in part 2 is the key.
