Every thought, choice, everything we do affects the whole, we are all connected to one universal mind. When you start to think like this you realise their is no need for violence because when you hurt another, even with a thought never the less an action, we hurt ourselves. The great Gandhi new this truth and overcame the British empire with the knowledge of this true power. Much of society however still thinks from a selfless viewpoint of ego and pride, but to evolve and climb up the ladder of conscious growth this realisation needs to come to fruition.
