Every time I see Debra George, I Can’t help but think back - TopicsExpress

Every time I see Debra George, I Can’t help but think back twenty years ago. My wife and I went out on the streets with an awesome evangelist who is now a pastor. (Bill Hines of New Covenant Christian Church). I saw the anointing of Jesus in action. I was moved and blown away by how quickly and aggressively he advanced through some of the most dangerous inner city streets in South Houston. I had no fear, because he had no fear. There was a dangerous apartment complex called “The Prisons!” It actually looked like a prison. We did a one week revival in that complex not knowing that the previous revival less than a week earlier by another church was shut down on the first day by drug dealing, gun toting thugs who lived there. We quickly ran to the battle lines, and waged an awesome war of revival against the evils that were trying to consume that complex. I love this man so much. This man totally empowered me to run to the battle line to attack my fears. I said that to say this… I have never seen such a person until I laid my eyes on Debra George! She wears her beautiful heart on her lovely face. When we see her, our hearts conform to the power and authority of our Lord and Savior. We become empowered by her zeal. She is without a doubt, one of the “Heavy-Hitters” when it comes to winning the lost souls to Jesus Christ. She is not going to just stand by and allow the giants of the street to taunt and mock the kingdom of God. When Debra sees the giants (trials, tribulations, temptations, and addictions) advancing, like David, she runs quickly to the battle lines. 1 Samuel 17:48 It’s in her eyes! You can actually see her heart for souls through her eyes. Her beautiful eyes are capable of bringing total destruction to the devils kingdom. Her Godly heart consumes whatever ounce of fear she may have left. God told me that her zeal to evangelize is not scheduled or patterned into a day. He told me that it is her life! God also said that Debra never gives evil a chance to attack her own understanding, because she is always looking for the “battle lines” whenever she is down in the daily trenches of evangelism. King Saul and all the soldiers gave in to the taunts of Goliath for forty days. They saw a huge flesh and blood opponent. David denounced them all and immediately started running quickly toward the giant. The Giant never had a clue or a chance. God told me that the excitement in my heart is justified, because Debra’s character aluminates the evidence of His calling and anointing on her life. Trust in the Lord with all your heart Debra, and keep running to the battle lines, because the devil knows that your heart is so much bigger than the giants. — with Debra George.
