We received this comment from a patients mother this morning. She was happy to let us share it with all of you: On 4/17/2014, paramedics Geoffrey A and Dustin G responded to a call from my sons daycare. My son, Liam, had accidentally taken a drink of milk, to which he is violently allergic. Geoff and Dustin were AMAZING. They were so soothing and calm with Liam, and made his (first!) ambulance ride a great experience, even though he wasnt feeling well and was very frightened. They overall had a great manner with kids. When we arrived at the ER, they came in with us and made sure we were being taken care of before leaving us. Honestly, they made this the most comfortable emergency of my parenting life! As a mom whose kid has asthma and severe allergies, weve been frequent users of the medical system, although this was the first time weve had an ambulance ride. Geoff and Dustin (and especially Geoff, who was primarily working with Liam) knew exactly how to get Liam calmed down and cooperative, and were great about explaining what was going on to both of us. Im not sure I can adequately express how much I appreciate these two gentlemen, and how much better they made this crazy day. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
