Every time anyone complains about Cunliffes choice of words, all I can think of is about THIS, all the work, all the people standing up, every person who signed that petition, EVERY survivor, EVERY victim and every person who depends on this policy being PASSED and how while they quibble about words other peoples entire lives depend on policy changes like this. So do I think Cunliffe deserves to get in? You know what? I hate politics and politicking but for f**ks sake - if youre gonna care about anything put your passion in the right place and support the policy. Actual real people need this and people who care more about a phrase, than something really important have their priorities in the wrong place. I was personally heavily involved in advocacy that led to this point. Disappointed to see such shitty weak-sauce support from self-involved skeptics and mansplainers who clearly dont care about anyone but themselves.
