Every time this guy opens his mouth in public I want to smash it shut with a pint glass filled with sh*t. Jesus what a hyperbolic, preening, ignorant, self absorbed, pretentious, luddite. First of all Quentin, your scripts are above average dime store paperbacks that certainly have visceral kick to them, but offer nothing more. You make movies inspired by other movies. Thats it! Your life experience is that of a video store geek. Theres nothing inherently deep or complex about your scripts or you for that matter. Second, cinema is evolving. Its not dead or dying. Its changing how its shot, how its delivered, and how people enjoy it. You just happen to be the stupid old fart yelling at the kids to get off your lawn. Please go back and grumble on your front porch and leave the future of films to people who can tolerate progress and advancement of the form. Has this goober even taken the time to investigate the viability of digital acquisition? Has he even looked at tests from the Red Dragon 6K sensor? I saw a print of Conan The Barbarian at the Egyptian over a year ago. Guess what? It sucked.
