Every week when I called the supplier to place my order, secretary was short with me, in a hurry, hung up before me and often without a thank you or good bye. Once I called back, excuse me, I wasnt done talking.. It happened one time too many and I began consider my option of other suppliers. I mentioned my experience to the companys deliver man who laughed, said, Oh, its not just you, they treat everyone that way. I asked why situation wasnt being handled. He assured me its just how they are. I told him I was considering other options. He was shocked, You are? You wouldnt? I said I WOULD. You are not the only company out there. There is no sense in dreading placing an order each week. I understand (not really but Ill give the benefit of the doubt) that one could treat a customer bad once, but not every time. Only because the delivery man gave me his personal phone number, said, dont call the office, order thru me am I still with the company. All that to say this, thanks to our familiarity and frequency of/with cell phones, texting , phone etiquette is becoming obsolete....but not at the Flower Cart. Im still old fashioned enough to teach young help to greet, listen, never hang up with out a thank you or good bye and always let your customer hang up first. It is my privilege to serve customers.....they have choices and when they choose us, we have more than a customer.. we have a guest!!!
