Every year I make up some cards that say I gave my holiday donation to Doctors Without Borders, a charity that does not sponsor HATE. And drop them into the bell ringers buckets. Last year as I was doing that the bell ringer asked me what that was about. As I told him a couple of other people were about to make a donation. They challenged me, and I said just google it. They pulled out their phones and did, and showed the bell ringer. He was disgusted. When I came out of the store he had taken down the kettle and the frame and sign had clearly been stomped on.
