Every year the Government of Ontario gives Sault Transit large amounts of money to improve services. This year David Orazietti has once again delivered our City the funds to improve transit services. Of course, this money should be used to restore half-hour transit services on weekends and weeknights. Another popular idea is that Sault Transit bus stops should have estimated arrival times attached to the bus stop sign. The point, folks, is that Sault Ste. Maries transit system is among the poorest quality transit systems in the Province of Ontario. Many other cities have newer buses, modern bus stops, better schedules. Its high time that the Province and the City invest more into improving the quality of services that we receive.
