Everyday with River is a surprise at the moment. Today was dentist day and I thought that, given the struggle we had with the wormer last week (River the giraffe), she wouldnt take too kindly to the dentist and her tools of torture! But she was amazing was having the mouth piece in and the dentist poking around in her mouth. Before being sedated. She struggled a bit with the sedation (as the dentist was having a problem finding the vein and the needle kept moving when River did) meaning she needed two lots of meds, she didnt behave nearly as badly as she could have. Being poked and prodded with a needle must have been really uncomfortable for her so I cant really blame her for moving around. The sedation meant we had the added bonus of lots of love and cuddles. Defo think she is an awesome addition to our family.
