Everyone has the right and prerogative to advocate for or challenge the issue or issues they feel strongly about. Everyone also has the right to represent or provide leadership to the people of their choice. This is covered under the principle called Self Determination. Im tired of the Im colorblind so I fight for everyone crowd making people feel bad for representing the issues of a specific group of people. Theres NOTHING wrong with advocating specifically for Blacks, women, Latinos, the LGBT community the disabled, elderly, etc. When you sincerely and effectively fight for any population of humanity you contribute to ALL of humanity because we are ALL connected. In other words, we must know when to stay in our lane and fufill our mission while allowing others to fulfill theirs. Opportunities also occur when we can work together across our different issues. The only exception to this are those people defending or advocating for oppressive individuals or systems, and even they have the right to do so, although this is in my opinion, counter-productive and counter-revolutionary.....
