Everyone in the world will think you are stupid. Every single person, no matter how much they love you, will someday self-righteously boil down the things that are important to you, until those important things (memories, hobbies, dreams) are a charred mess stuck to the bottom of the pot. Theyll point to the bitter ash and say, See? Stupid. Useless. They are correct. Yet. Its not the ingredients fault that dinner turned out inedible. Be the chef in your own kitchen. Swat those nosy bastards with your grandmothers checkered dish towel- shoo them back into the yard and return to your faithful stirring. It takes a particularly strong person to see the potential in things. To love the things that dont always love you back. To nurture a vision. And when those inadequate fools help themselves to a second slice of pie, theyll literally be eating their words.
