Today we went for a Sunday ride to nowhere in particular, ended up in Mont Vernon, NH...beautiful place. Left there and headed towards Milford, NH. Coming down the hill from Mont Vernon into Milford I was stopped by a Milford Police Officer for going 57 in 35 Zone. In full disclosure I didnt notice any speed limit sign but also didnt notice my speed but for sure it wasnt 35mph. The officer approached the car and politely told me why I was stopped and asked if there was an emergency. We said no, just that were not familiar with the area and didnt realize that we were speeding in that area. He returned to his cruiser with my license and registration and returned a few moments later. He said you have a clean driving record, and Im not going to blemish this for you. Im giving you a warning because you are not from the area and the speed limit goes back up to 50mph at the top of the hill. In the meantime please stay at 35. We thanked him and went on our way at 35. Thanks Milford, NH Police Officer.
