Everyone is praising movie Dr. Prakash Baba Amte... and saluting them... no doubt its an awesome movie. but... How many of us will introspect? Our lives have become so materialistic.. will it change??? In one scene, Dr. Amtes US visa is been rejected seeing his income... 99.99% of the parents around feel so proud that their kids have or been to abroad... i have overheard a lady saying, aga US la jaun ala na mulga tuza?? bhav vadhlach bagh tyacha ata (lagnachya market madhe) ... will it change??? Why blame parents? almost all IT kids are always in a search to have a chance to go abroad, many of them dont even think about the loneliness their parents will suffer... i hv seen many long distance marriages suffer due to this greed for growth, prospects and exposure... will it change??? No words can praise Dr. Mandakini Amte enough for her love and affection towards her husband and his work... i have seen and heard 99% of the so called educated girls in Pune and other metros and even in small towns putting on rude and self centered conditions before marriage...she will not marry if you even live in a rented house...(changlya gharatlya muli) will it change??? Most of us psudo reputed people outcast a person who chooses or tries unconventional career path... will it change??? We all feel nice when Dr. Amte throws away God stone... then why so much crowd in front of temples? (navsala pavnara ha.. ani navsala pavnari hi...) do our Bhagvat Geeta or any literature by a sait teach us to demand perishables to God? (go.. read... they dont) our religion teaches us to see God in every living and dead... have we even tried to see?? once??? will it change??? Exceptions are there to all above... but sadly and as always they are very few... WILL THIS CHANGE??? All of us loved or will love the movie...including the category mentioned above... but only feeling these emotions is not enough...we have to act... WE MUST CHANGE... If we really loved the movie... if our eyes were wet even for a fraction of a second, we still have a hope for the CHANGE... And if we change, or even do a genuine try to bring that change... only then it will be a real salute to the films team and Amte family themselves...
