Everyone keeps saying how this place has changed and things arent the same or whatever and I finally figured out what the reasons are. First of all, NO ONE participates in most of the activities anymore, but then will complain about nothing going on. Um, excuse me but there are a lot of things that happen and you just dont come out to it. We all have an activities list and if you dont, go online, its there. No reason for you to not know about it, UNLESS it gets secretly changed or added and thats happened quite a bit this year. People wonder why there arent certain things scheduled, its because no one shows up. If you want to see something new added, go to the planning meeting and share your ideas. Otherwise you have no place to complain about whats going on. Secondly, the shit talking and bashing. Really yall? Were not in high school anymore, grow up. You have a problem with something? Go directly to the person, dont talk shit behind someones back. Thats so childish and says more about you than whoever youre talking about. Everyone judges everything and always has something to say about whatever is going on, but wont open their mouth to the person running it or whatever. Ive held my tongue many times when I hear people saying things because I didnt want to have anymore drama. This is a campground, there shouldnt be drama. We come here to relax and get away from the everyday bullshit from school/work/etc. Lastly, it feels like its becoming less and less of a family campground. Im not going to elaborate on this because this can be taken many ways and Im sure most of them will be right. Growing up, this campground use to be enjoyable, but now its really not. Im really sad that I wont be seasonal anymore, but at the same time, Im glad I wont have to deal with the ridiculous drama just comes along with it. I try to be friends with everyone, and I think it works out. That is the end of my rant. This is NOT pointed towards any one person or any certain event. Its what happened this ENTIRE season. I hope next season will be a better one.
