Everyone meet baby Riley - My wonderful friend Lori Ehrmantraut Negron took me with her for a visit to see this sweet baby. His mommy posted this earlier: Today Riley was taken off the ventilator!! They will watch everything close to be sure he can handle it. It felt so good to finally hold my baby again! The specialists are saying that the high ammonia should resolve on its own, but they will keep watching it and alter his nutrition to help him. He is still in ICU, but we are hopeful a trip back to the transplant unit is coming soon. Praise the Lord!
