Everyone one says that children are gifts from God, and they are. No question about it, but no one has ever tried to put a descriptive phrase on grandchildren. Its because there is none. I think they are Gods way to be able to touch us in a tangible way. Kensley gives me discernment. She makes me look at the world and myself through different eyes. She makes me see my shortcomings and the goodness of others that I would have overlooked without her wisdom. Harley is pure goodness. He gives me introspection. He makes me want to be a better person for him. He keeps my Alzheimers at bay because he is so smart and factual, he makes me dig into things to keep up with him. He gives me hope that the future may not be completely lost. Paisley is pure joy. She makes me forget my pains and my worries for a little while. God knew what He was doing when He gave us our grandchildren in our later years. Lord, I thank you for blessing me with mine. May they always know how much their Granny loves and needs them.
