Everyone remember the little mini foal my friends mare had? Well the morning after he was rushed to the equine hospital be cause he was making a muffled breathing noise, wouldnt stand and couldnt eat, he was diagnosed as a dummy foal, meaning he didnt get enough oxygen when he was born and causing his brain to severely swell. He was put on ivs and sent home, with the guidance of the vet and his incredible care team he has pulled through, he came off the Iv today and can stand and move on his own and he can now nurse on his own hes doing fantastic and is such a sweet little guy. Has anyone else had anything similar happen?
