Everyone these are the minutes of meeting with the chief warden : 1.The Undertaking forms is a decision of the deans committee and Director and the Chief warden was not in the discussion committee.Hence he cant take any action regarding this issue. 2.The increment in Mess advance is a decision taken by Previous Chief warden along with Ex-Student council President Dinesh Reddy.The topic of increment in mess advance is discussed in the HAC meeting last year and Ex-President has accepted that you increase the rates from 10,000 to 12,000 from 2014-15. After this we had a meeting regarding the undertaking forms with Dean student affairs: 1.We have proposed to remove the undertaking forms,where the Dean hesitated to reply and after a while he was like we will have a meeting on Monday(Today) with the Director then we can decide. 2.Increment in mess advance to be implemented if accepted by current student council 3.Reduction in the late registration fee from 2000 to 250.We have proposed this and as that day Academic Dean wasnt there no decision could be taken that day.So they have asked us to come again on Monday. Agenda of Todays Meeting : 1.Reduction in Mess advance 2.Removal of Undertaking forms 3.Reduction in Late registration fee 4.Scholarships and Stipends to be issued on Proper time There are many things that we had put forward and the administration didnt accept. 1.Increase the in-timings of LH and First years.Being said it was a sensitive issue,our proposal on increment in in-timings have been ruled out.We have proposed to increase the in-time into the hostels to atleast 11pm 2.A separate Audit committee consisting of various students selected from different branches for checking the bills of Technozion,Spring Spree,Students council,clubs.This was ruled out saying that we cannot enter the jurisdiction of fests as already there was a faculty advisor and constituting a review committee and Audit committee would not be Good. 3.Official holidays for Sankranti and Holi.This was also not accepted saying that there should be atleast 60 holidays in the summer vacation,if we give sankranti holidays now,the semester would be extended and it will a problem with Non-Teaching staff. During the past two days I,President of Students council along with Vice president and General secretary were involved in a Alumni meeting in vijayawada.We have lack of Laptops and Proper internet Facility to communicate back,hence the delay.Nitw Studentscouncil is ready to answer all the questions posed to it. Finally what we want to say is that if the Administration is still reluctant to accept our Demands and look after the proposals we ask every student of college not to give any undertaking form.We will also take the extreme step of protest if todays meeting with director was not fruitful.
