Everyone, virtually all my Witsie Colleagues and South Africans in general are asking me if indeed President Mugabe mocked,scolded,despised and attacked President Mandela. Even in our Finance Lecture today, there was a standstill as questions were being raised if Mugabe really said Mandela is "idiotic, mad and stupid" at a Celebration Rally yesterday. Every South African wanted to know from me and the reasons for such reckless statements.lam very disappointed by the level of unprofessionalism in the media. They have now taken their bias to unpreceded levels and we cant allow that. The last statement from Cde Mugabe SA was three wks ago when he attacked Lindiwe Zulu. All this misinformation to continue. Such statements are likely to cause Diplomatic tension btwn our two countries. Of course we know that the intention of imperialist media is to try and make Zuma angry so that maybe he wl hit back at President Mugabe.lam sure the media wl be very happy to see a war btwn Zimbabwe and SA, they are actually dreaming it and they want it. The whole mission is set up but they wont succeed. We duly respect Cde Mandela for his invaluable contribution to SA , but of course we do disagree wth him on other aspects like land and ownership of economy. But that disagreement cant amounts to an attack on his personality. May God bless Africa and its people.
