Everyones home from the hospital, my brother-in-laws lung is re-inflated and he had stents for heart blockages, my father is home with health care aide assistance as we wait for more info from his doctor about a plan of care. There are heroes in the healthcare system, but Im finding the system itself is slow, often non-responsive, rife with regulations and overwhelmed with paperwork. This has been, and continues to be quite an education for me. All told there were SEVEN family members stricken with nasty viruses, all are on the mend as I write this.
