Everyones into the walking dead, or was. Im not even sure what all that is about, but I wonder if our fascination with living dead, zombies and the like is because many of us feel as though we are living dead. A lot of us are professing Christians, yet we have no joy, we have no peace, we have little hope, and yet we profess And are encouraged to share the hope inJesus that anyone can have these things...yet, we stand with a blank face at any given point in the day. Take a deep breathe. You have the power in you(through Jesus death and resurrection) to bring dead to life. Wake up sister and brother. Come to life, you have the power and gift in you to breathe life every where you go. Will you risk being the weird one? Possibly offending someone? Or annoying someone? People are often offended by even the smallest of things, you can not tell me that telling someone that Jesus loves them is too risky. I share all my stories with you all not for a pat on the back or even to inspire you. My hope is that it will show you we have nothing to lose, and everything to gain when we simply live Jesus. I have seen more strangers filled with hope by simply asking them if I could pray for them. And as caught off guard as they may be they have rarely if ever left offended or without genuinely thanking me . So today, look around. In the grocery line, at work, in your home, on your Facebook. And just ask someone if you can pray with and for them. Live. Jesus.
