Everything - By Brandon Cowie The crisp winter air means nothing to me I remember when I was alone, in the dark, secluded and lost Looking out into the black abyss As the flakes fall and melt simultaneously on the hood of my car The heat from the roaring horses under the black paint Cause the once dangerous material to evaporate so it can fall once more I was well aware of the cycle of emotions The rise, the fall, the rebirth, the descent Finding myself and losing myself all in the midst of a thought The thought of finding you, then losing you is a cycle I am about to break After hours of staring into the white abyss that make my eyes burn I can finally sit here emotionless, as I await your reply. Anxiously I anticipate the allusion that you represent Only for me to decipher your intentions that are trapped behind the wall that separates us The labyrinth of meadows and mountains and money that separated us, is no more Finally, the tears we have shared, the emotions we have pondered, and the laughs we have generated Can be lived like the passionate dream we once thought it was. Home is where my heart is, home is where my soul is, home is where you are Trusting you, talking with you, kissing you are only the foundations of the reasons that we will be together Together we will form a bond, uphold a friendship, create a love dynasty that we can share and enjoy You thought it was hard to be without each other before, Now it will never have to happen again. Being alone for months and not knowing my future may lead me to believe that I accomplished nothing, however, realistically, it gave me the opportunity to talk to you, to get to know you, to become a part of you. Therefore, Ive accomplished everything...
