Everything happens for a reason.. Every delay has a reason and every minute waited is meant to be waited for a cause.. Today a very important lesson was learned.. Rami my friend who is coming for a visit didnt catch the train he was supposed to catch. So we had to wait 40 mins for him... When he was about to arrive we decided to go out of the main train station and wait on the platform itself.. Ebru looked up and there she was.. A women sitting on the edge of the bridge.. Ebru said shell jump, me no no shes one of those hipsters enjoying the moment.. Stupid i was for the woman started leaning forward.. None saw her so we started walking towards her. Lots of taxi drivers chatting, since its a taxi point.. We got their attention looking up and trying to figure out what to do.. Meanwhile the woman started leaning more forward.. Ebru and zuzu started panicking and looked away not wanting to witness the jump.. Shell jump i told myself.. A guy coming down the bridge told us, go talk to her i didnt want to approach her, cause I was afraid shell get me wrong, I am a man after all.. I started screaming give me the police number.. I managed to call the police.. Nervous as I was, i held myself together just to give the man enough information to reach us.. I gave him our location ( by screaming train station, train station and bridge...) he kept asking questions i wasnt able to respond to like how old is she, how does she look like, my nerves had come to an end, i started shaking myself.. The bike guy took the mobile from me and started giving them info.. The police car arrived.. One officer went up following two taxi drivers... They garbed her and managed to pull her back.. The poor thing was soo helpless they had to carry her down.. If Ebru hadnt looked up and Rami had arrived on time, none would have seen the poor woman and she might have jumped.. In times like these one has to pull him-herself together and start acting.. Freaking out and panicking wont be much of a help.. Everything happens for a reason.. Almost a year ago I read a book by cecilia ahern about a girl who rescues a guy from committing suicide, I thought to myself if I ever find myself in such a situation I should do my best to help the person trying to take his life away.. Guess it wasnt a coincidence reading that book either, now I know why the book stayed a while with me..
