Everything you do, everything you think, every intention you express in this moment generates energy which will return to you in the near future. So how are you reacting to your present, and how is that reaction creating your future? Are you feeling like a victim? Are you feeling attacked? Misunderstood? Unappreciated? Or are you feeling accepting, understanding, open? What will that energy feel like when it returns to you? The secret to creating with conscious intent is that there is power in this moment, massive power of potential. Recognizing that all of this experience is our old energy returning to us is the key which unlocks the door. Enduring your old energy and sending it back out in love is how you pass through the doorway. Many people are not aware of this dynamic, even though our world is full of cliches that echo this truth. And yet how many people around you are trapped in cycles of pain, perpetual self-generated cycles of victim mentality, of self-loathing projected on the world around them, vicious circles of pain? These cycles are often deeply rooted and will require some persistent effort to dislodge, much like scraping off old paint. In most cases it requires multiple tools and skills to remove that old conditioning and embrace new habits. Breathing techniques, the use of empowering mantras, presence in the moment, remembering the nature of karma, journaling, meditation, detachment, letting go, facing fears, these are all tools which can help scrape away old paint from the tough spots - the corners, the nooks and crannies... All of it must eventually be removed for our new energy to have full impact. And then one day you reach a moment in which the incoming energy shifts, and you start to experience your recently sent out good vibes here in the present, instead of the old default energy you used to send out. What a magical moment, for you have created a perpetual cycle of love.
